How I work

I support the execution of projects run by the client from the organizational and supervisory side. Every project goes through the same, proven path:

Project onboarding

I establish goals with the client: stage division, timeline, participants, rules of info flow. The project gets a plan before work starts.

Work rhythm

I divide execution into stages, plan work time, and monitor the progress in real time so that execution status is visible at any moment for me and the client.

Daily supervision

I monitor execution of each stage according to plan and sequence of actions. I coordinate project participants, supervise timeliness, identify risks and threats, and suggest corrective actions before delays grow.

Management info

The client receives a regular report: execution status, deviations from goals, decisions to make. No coloring and no surprises at the end.

Stage closing

I verify execution completeness against goals, collect feedback, and the same orderly workflow starts in the next project.

Daily stand-up of the Analytics team (incomplete attendance after holidays). Initial sorting of the Analytics backlog for sprint planning. Scheduling Sprint 1 planning for Jan 7.

Client Facing Portal
Daily stand-up of the Portal team, 1:1 meeting with the Portal dev lead (return from leave, priority setting). Coordination with the UX team regarding page mockups. Short review of the Portal risk register (no changes since December).
Analytics Web App
Daily stand-up of the Analytics team, alignment with stakeholder on sprint priorities. Detailing stories and acceptance criteria for planning, short contact with the data team about data availability: one dataset not confirmed yet, risk under observation.

Client Facing Portal
Daily stand-up of the Portal team, re-directing the team to sprint goals after the break. Escalation to IT: dev environment still not ready, part of the team blocked. Temporary redirection of the team to tasks not requiring the environment to limit downtime. Status update after the break.
Analytics Web App
Analytics sprint planning (Sprint 1), sprint backlog sorting (task division and estimation by the team). Shortened team stand-up. Coordination with IT for Analytics environment needs. Sending sprint plan to stakeholders.

My story

Why I do project management

My path to project management did not start with IT, but with the need to connect people, tasks, and results.

Over time, my first student initiatives evolved into web projects, work with commercial companies, IT projects, and an independent B2B model in Poland.

I connect people, processes, and technology so that projects run in an orderly and effective way and lead to the intended result.

2006

Academic studies and first projects

In 2006, I graduated with a degree in philology. During my studies, I lived in a student dormitory and got involved in my first projects, including organizing a dance studio.

Internet development

First web projects

The end of my studies coincided with the rapid development of the internet. Medium-sized businesses started needing websites, portals, and web projects. It was then that I realized this was what I wanted to do.

PM experience

Coordination, supervision and result

A lack of an IT education was not an obstacle. Motivation, responsibility, and organizational skills proved to be more important. I worked as a project manager, coordinating the work of web development and maintenance departments in commercial companies, including a B2B e-commerce project.

Pet-project

Local medical portal

In my spare time, my friends and I worked on a small local medical portal. I was responsible for its organization and coordination. This project caught the interest of one of my future clients.

Entering IT

Internal projects in IT companies

This is how I entered the IT industry, where I continued to manage internal projects of companies. Then came other IT companies and more and more tasks that I managed to close faster than new ones arrived.

Poland and B2B

New professional stage

I needed a larger number of projects in English, and Poland in 2022 proved to be an attractive direction for my further professional development. Here, I started fresh, in an independent B2B format, where I try to build cooperation with several clients and am solely responsible for my workload and results.
